Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data A'Nagar Cycling Club's event website collects, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do with it. The website is run by KALPATTARU ENTERPRISES INDIA, which is responsible for your data. Questions and requests: support@nagarevents.co.in.
What we collect
- Your account: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your password, which we keep only in a scrambled (hashed) form we can't read.
- Your registrations: the participant's name, email, phone number and, when the ticket or the organizer asks for it, date of birth - plus your answers to the organizer's own questions. Depending on the event these can include an emergency contact's name and phone number, blood group, T-shirt size, club or team, organization, and food preferences.
- Payments: Razorpay handles the payment itself. We keep its reference, the amount and status, any refunds, and the kind of method used (for example UPI, or a card's network and type) - never your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank password.
- Tax invoices: for events that charge GST, the invoice and any credit note with the details the law requires.
- Check-in: when your ticket was scanned, and at which entry.
- Organizers: the organizer's name, contact details and business details (such as PAN, GSTIN and address). Bank account details for payouts go straight to Razorpay; we don't store them.
- Technical data: your IP address, used to stop abuse (such as limits on how many seats one network can hold unpaid), our servers' logs, and error reports from which email addresses, phone numbers, passwords and similar details are removed before they are sent.
Why we use it
- To register you for events, hold and confirm your seat, and check you in.
- To send what your registration needs - confirmations, e-ticket links, refund and cancellation notices, password emails - by email and, if you gave a phone number, on WhatsApp.
- To take payments, make refunds, issue tax invoices and keep the records the law asks for.
- So the organizer can run its event.
- To keep the website and its users safe from fraud and misuse.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who sees it
- The event's organizer sees your registration details and answers for its own event, and can download them, to run the event.
- Entry volunteers at the event see only your name, your ticket and the last four digits of your phone number when they check you in.
- Service providers who work for us, only for that work: Razorpay (payments and refunds), Render (our servers), Cloudflare (the check that you're not a bot, storage of event pictures, and our encrypted backups), Resend (email), MSG91 (WhatsApp messages) and Sentry (error reports, with contact details removed).
- Government authorities, when the law requires it.
Where it is kept
Our servers and database are in Singapore, so your data is stored outside India. Backups are encrypted before they leave our servers.
How long we keep it
Payment records, tax invoices and credit notes are kept for 8 years, as tax law requires. Other account and registration data is kept for as long as it's needed to run events and your account. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see "Your rights"); we then delete it, except the records the law requires us to keep.
Cookies and your browser
We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser's local storage keeps you signed in and remembers a few settings. Cloudflare's bot check and Razorpay's payment window may set their own cookies, needed for security and for the payment.
Keeping it safe
The website uses HTTPS, passwords are stored hashed, backups are encrypted, and only people who need it can reach your data. Administrator sign-in needs a second code.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it (we keep what the law requires, such as tax records), and you can withdraw your consent. Write to support@nagarevents.co.in from the email address you registered with. We answer within 30 days.
Children
A participant under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, who gives consent for the participant's data to be used as this policy describes, and for their taking part in the event.
Grievance officer
If you have a complaint about how your data is handled, write to our grievance officer: GAURAV ASHOK FIRODIA, support@nagarevents.co.in, phone 86009 10000, 2nd Floor, Plot No 127/98, Kalpattaru Enclave, Professor Colony Chowk, Above Titan Eye Plus, Vedant Nagar, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra 414003.
Changes to this policy
